Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out conduct that is prohibited on vumyo and any product built by VUMY Technologies. The AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service.
You may not
- Use vumyo to post fake jobs ("ghost jobs"), to harvest applications without intent to hire, or to pretend to be a hiring contact you are not.
- Submit candidates to a job under a false identity, with a misrepresented resume, or via a substituted profile (hotlist misrepresentation).
- Reject candidates without a recorded reason, or use bulk rejection to mass-ghost an applicant pool. The product enforces required reasons; bypassing the enforcement is grounds for termination.
- Use Sutra or any AI feature to auto-generate applications at scale, to fabricate work history, or to misrepresent identity.
- Scrape vumyo's public surfaces (jobs, profiles, channels) faster than 60 requests per minute per IP without a partnership agreement.
- Send unsolicited bulk communications via Signal channels, the contact-form intake, or recruiter messaging features.
- Upload Personal Data of individuals who have not consented to its inclusion in your workspace.
- Bypass identity verification, signature verification, or audit logging.
- Reverse-engineer the platform to extract candidate or workspace data outside of permitted API and export interfaces.
Enforcement
Reports go to /contact. Confirmed violations result in workspace suspension; repeat or severe violations result in termination and removal of indexed content.
The vumyo pledge
The product enforces the vumyo pledge: no ghost jobs, response SLA on every recruiter, required reason on every rejection, candidate-controlled data, AI assists / humans decide, application caps as a feature. The AUP is the contractual side of those commitments.
